Hi Rebecca,

At a glance he still has extremely thin soles and his hoof quality shows that there are issues going on probably with the diet which is reflected in the coat changes.  As far as testing for iron in your water a quick Google search came up with the following resources: https://eec.ky.gov/Environmental-Protection/Water/GW/Pages/GWOwnerAssist.aspx and https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjFlt2igJzwAhUBMVkFHSSlBVAQFjADegQICBAD&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.watersystemscouncil.org%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2017%2F11%2FKY-Cert-Labs-103117.pdf&usg=AOvVaw2gl2mi3OEqW3n8zaFEYw-q (list of KY certified drinking water labs as of 2017)
