I just want to say how much I appreciate the conversations that were 'sparked' by my question of trimming from the top. I trimmed Major for the nine short weeks of his sinking episode and was able to have Ruth Allison down to check my trim. I 'lost' Major but continued on in the learning. I had trimmed my QH mare for some time but really felt I was not going in the right direction for her. So I handed over those duties to others.
I'm thinking again of taking on my own and these conversations are so very helpful. I don't have time to read all the posts on the barefoot list. Your sharing with one another expands my knowledge base and hopefully soon I'll be back at my own again. :-)
