I would love if this turns out to be an abscess, there are no signs on any rad views (even paid a radiologist to review them), no gas pockets, no pedal osteomyelitis... His feet are no longer hot

J does not directly block pain. It has antiinflammatory effects and improves circulation. From your history I'd suspect abscess.

Re: Alfalfa
Hi Kathy,
Thanks for the background info. Doesn't sound like the alfalfa was the problem but now you know the pro/cons of adding it.
No more beating yourself up over the cellulitis thing - you did

Hi Lavinia,
It’s something that I want to investigate to make sure it was or wasn’t having a hand in her problems. This is the first time I have fed this amount of alfalfa to her for this long

Re: Where to put pictures?
Hi Tally,
The photos on this group are for horses that are neither PPID nor IR.
Photos for IR/PPID horses go in the photos section of the case history group so you did it perfectly :)

Re: hoof boots for small domkey hooves
I like the Scoots because they breathe. You can put a 6mm pad in. If you need 12mm padding,, use Trails.

Thank you, the little hinny is currently laminitic. I suggested she pad her hooves and see if there were any boots that would work.
