Do multiple rings = multiple inflammatory events?

They are event rings of some sort and indicate that there have some kind of changes /insults occurring on a regular basis going back at least a year. This could include laminitis, mechanical factors and/or dietary changes as a few ideas.

Ok, that helps.  Thank you.

She had laminitis in July and hasn’t been right sense.  After shedding sole 2x the sole is now thin and she’s always positive to hoof testers.  If she’s not in softrides then she’s not willing to move around enough to keep from stocking up.  She’s not insulin resistant or ppid.  But I feed her an insulin resistant diet except for a cup of wheat bran to get the supplements down.

The only thing I can think of is up the j-herb and hope she grows enough sole to make her comfortable.  Not sure what happened.  She had smooth walls & was always sound  before July.  I let her out to play, probably brused her feet thundering around, got laminitis and now I can’t get her sound and she’s having multiple something happening.

Terribly  frustrating!

I'm sure this is extremely frustrating for both of you.

Looking at the other photos, I can see her heels are underrun and the frogs don't make ground contact. There is some flaring all around that appears to be growing out but it looks like there is a decent bevel that is working to counteract that problem.

Agree the with j-herb. Also, need to get those heels more backed up but without losing what little height you have now. Work to ramp the backs of them rather than lowering them at this point. Also try to allow the bars to remain a bit more pronounced near the heels so they can provide additional support.

No. Sole bruising is a result, not a cause of anything.
