i believe they were less than 70.00 (including shipping).  i DID like them.  one of these days i am going to try a thorough cleaning of the velcro to see if i can salvage.  the boot itself was fine.  mud and velcro do not mix.

Has anyone used this little boot instead of the Equine Slipper

no, i did not use that particular one. i DID try this one, which
is similar:
_Castle Plastics Hoof Boots_
(http://www.castleplastics.com/hoofboots.htm)

the boot itself was ok: in regards to the "bottom" it seemed
rather large,
i was worried about the horse brushing in them, but it did not
seem to
happen. the velcro seemed strong enough, however the velcro
simply can not handle
mud or dirt etc.... and will not stay closed if dirty.

You should be able to get them for $40 or less, per each.
