I live in East TN and have not any trouble finding hay. Email me and I will give you my source.
As far as Coastal Bermuda, my experience is that it is a very long stemmed hay and some horses have trouble with it. Colic seems to be a problem. Usually a good grazing grass but some cannot handle it as a dry hay product. Of course this has nothing to do with the NSC. Many hay brokers around here have stopped bringing/shipping it in because of this very reason.
