Don't know - but I can tell you it's been flourishing (actually less so
now) for a good 35 years.

Personally, I don't think DDFT "pull" has anything to do with it -
maybe "stretch" with a negative coffin bone angle, but not pull.
Physics/biomechanics is *not* me (understatement) but I suspect the
short term clinical benefit simply comes from taking the hoof/leg out
of full weightbearing.
