Hi Denise,

Did you vet do any nerve blocks? That would tell you for sure if it's
the navicular or the fetlock that's bothering her. From X-ray changes
alone, I'd be more suspicious of the navicular but X-rays don't predict
pain with much accuracey at all. Before you start investing time and
money in trying to get her more comfortable, I'd want to know for sure
where the pain is coming from because the treatment options are very
different.

P.S. Joint injections done with sterile technique using hyaluronic acid
or HA with some steroid and antibiotic mixed in are very low risk when
done correctly. They're also expensive so, again, localize the pain
first.
