Sharon, putting weight on a Cushings or Insulin Resistant horse should
start with FREE CHOICE low NSC feeds such as all he can eat hay and up
to 1/3 the daily diet in beet pulp. Only if a horse can't maintain it's
weight on hay do we start to consider other feeds.
