Our vet says that Peruvian's do have higher incidence of IR than some other breeds. My mare's neck is heavily crested and appears to be tipping. I am not sure if it is a result of IR or her heavy mane pulling it down. Her mane is very thick and well past her shoulders. So I am dealing with that too. My friend's Paso is getting a cresty neck.
