Unfortunately, in some areas of the country the hay is trucked in from miles away. Being able to go visit with growers is really a dream those who live in the desert rarely will ever have come true! So we're stuck with what comes in. Even those who buy huge amounts usually do so by phone and don't see it until it arrives from often hundred of miles away. <sigh>
