Is Simplifly, by Farnam, safe to feed an I/R Cushings horse?
There's no safety data with specific reference to hormones. In other species, the main safety issue is interference with oxygen binding to hemoglobin. A short term (31 day) feeding study in horses found some chemistry changes but still within normal. There are no long term studies available and they did not check oxygen saturation of hemoglobin.

Personally, I would not deliberately feed any insecticide. It does get absorbed and has to be processed by the liver. Too many unknowns.
