Selecting a probiotic/yeast supplement

Hello,
My girl is currently on Digest-Zyme (Strictly Equine) pro-biotic. Looking at the ingredients, there's Brewers Dried Grains, Mannose (MOS) and Fructooligosaccarides (FOS) in there, in addition to the bacteria, digestive enzymes and yeast. The flyer says the MOS and FOS are food for the good bacteria. Is this a good product? Biotic 8 (Omega Alpha) also contains some FOS. Can these be a problem?
My mare has had severe health issues this year, and they seem to have left her more sensitive to sugars, although not IR. She has teeth issues (being slowly addressed every few months, but we need to wait for the teeth to grow!!) She's not getting as much out of her food as I'd like her too, and I don't want to fill her to the gills with feed. Does anyone have experience with KERx's Triad? (Mix of 3 yeasts that improves nutrient absorption).
