The article my vet gave me said life shortened by PPID to max of 3 more years.
Very depressing. Is this typically true?

Hi Karen,

My friend has a 32 years old arabian mare that has PPID. She was diagnost 5 years ago but for sure had PPID way before that.
She is great, treated with pergolide and she is still trotting around and has a great life. I would not believe that article. Just enjoy your horse and have fun.
