My horse Shawnee has been off of bute for 5 days now. He is walking soundly with his soft ride boots . I had taken them off of him on Friday and hand walked him for about 5 minutes and he looked sound as well.,
He is getting trimmed tomorrow.
Should I leave the boots on or is it ok to take them off?
Are they helping with his healing process or are they there just for comfort?
