I had Stabul 1 shipped to eastern Maryland. For 25 bags, it was $15.00 per bag for the feed alone, almost $25.00 per bag including shipping. The horses love it, almost too much. They are overeager at feeding time. Don't know if I want to pay that much shipping again.
Thank you both for the suggestions, and especially for reinforcing the appetite loss relation to uncontrolled PPID. That is a very important point and one I didn't really consider beyond the "pergolide veil." I will give him a couple of weeks at this dose and try to test, else up it again if he doesn't seem better.
I managed to get some samples of Stabul and he LOVES it!!! Thank you!!!!! Now to figure out how to get it here and if I can afford it. Does anyone have average price they're paying? Randy gave me a $25-33 range that he knows of.
Whey (vanilla) he thought was poison. Tea can try but hard to do in boarding situation... Antacids - how do you get them in when he's suspicious of everything? Are there flavors that seem to work? (he thinks peppermint is poison too) Liquid vs tablets???
