Does anyone have experience with this product for an IR horse or otherwise?  The b.o.'s are recommending it as flies are bad.  I am advocating the use of a fly mask, but they also want to see if this helps as my horse already had conjuctivitis last fall and is already starting to becoming red and irritated in both eyes - one eye is drippy. I'm hesitant to use - the odor is pungent and even though it's a velcro attachment, I get concerned with leaving anything around a horse's neck in the pasture.
