The statement: 'Compounded pergolide is a crapshoot.' simply does not explain the hundreds (conservative) or thousands (probably more realistic) of horses that have had DOCUMENTED changes in bloodwork on compounded pergolide. Not to mention improvement in symptoms that go along with PPID.
