I just had my mare in the Soft Ride boots for 3 weeks. They were a lifesaver!! They are expensive, but getting my mare through the period when she could not have shoes put on was worth every penny. They made her more comfortable and protected her hooves. Also, these can be put over shoes, so they are versatile if needed. I would not hesitate recommending these to get you through this period.
