Cory's new discouraging numbers

Deb Funderburk <hawkhilldeb@...>

Hi all-- I got Cory's bloodwork results and I am very discouraged. His ACTH has gone up to 87 since October (when it was 50). He has been on 9 mgs of Pergolide and I thought surely with the seasonal rise over his numbers would begin dropping. The vet is increasing the compounded pergolide to 10 mg and I am thinking of adding in 1 mg Prascend, like LeeAnne is doing with Dawn, after a couple of weeks on the 10 mgs.

Cory is still walking very gingerly in his paddock, and is still willing to stand on three legs while I put the boots on (this is new as of February). I still think he is improving, but these new numbers are making me wonder if this is a lost cause. Any thoughts, anyone?
