Hi Keith,
You need to ask the vet or pharmacist how many mg of pergolide are
contained in 1 cc (or 1ml- same thing) of liquid. Those of us who use
the pergolide from Prescription Specialties are getting 1 mg of pergo
in 1 cc of liquid suspension. That way, if a horse needs 2 mg of
pergo you just draw off 2 cc of liquid. Remember, the liquid is not
pure medicine. It has flavoring and something to carry it.
The fact that your vet has you giving 3cc makes me wonder what the
strength is-as that seems to be a pretty high dose.
