There is no reason to think there would be a link between Jiaogulan and sarcoids.

As for ERU, there is a **possibility** of connection based on one mouse study where injection of purified extract into the abdomen increased the activity of both B and T cell lymphocytes.  To duplicate those conditions in the horse at the lowest active dose would require injection of 25 grams of pure extract into the abdomen. How this might compare with oral intake of whole dried herb at 2 to 5 grams per day on the average is not immediately obvious.  The **possibility** of interaction with ERU is therefore based on an abundance of caution.  Nothing wrong with that as long as you realize it's not a certainty.
