<< Maxine where do you get Metaboleeze? I am giving Chromium Picolinate now
and
this sounds better. >>
*******At Bet Labs, Lexington, Ky. 859 273-3036
It's 45 for 3 pounds or $289 for 25 pounds. It was recommended to
me by a
man who is using it on his Cushing mare who foundered badly. She
is
galloping around now. She was tested by Bet Labs and they recommended she go
on it.
I was a bit disappointed when my first tub arrived as on the label
it says
it's for "horses under strenuous training"........and says nothing about
Cushings.
However I had seen a good change in my Cushings mare before I knew she had Cushings with Lixotinic on several occasions. I think the answer is that it helps anemia...... is a "blood builder". Given
that
identification, when you compare it with other blood builders like Lixotinic and Red
Cell it
goes to the head of the class regards potency. (label reading) Additionally, when my mares were blood tested by Bet Labs
for
Cushings, they did not recommend Metaboleeze (their own product). But they
did
recommend Chromium 5.0 to 25 MG per day. Since Metaboleeze offers 5MG per day, I decided to use that with the added blood building
extras.
Bet Labs reccommended that I use only Permax......but I decided to
go with
Hormonise instead........at least for now. Although there isn't a lot of talk by vets and Cushings
experts
about blood builders being very helpful........I think most will
see a big
difference in their horses when put on a blood builder. JMO. Maxine
Maxine, My understanding is the chromium helps the insulin resistance part of the Cushings syndrome. It's a basis for an important enzyme invoved in sugar metabolism. People with Type2 diabetes also take it. Katy
