Maxine,
I have to have my house cats, who have never been outside,
vaccinated for rabies. The way my vet explained it-IF-by some remote
chance, someone gets bitten and the cat doesn't have an up to date
rabies certificate as proof, they can quarentine it or worse-put it
down.
We give them the 3 year type and yes-apparently there are 2 types of
vaccines. Much as I hate to give them vaccines for a disease they
can't get I don't want to risk losing them over a technicality.
