I was thinking the taped shut muzzle are for those horses who have no other choice, correct? . no dry lot no other place to turn them out..gets them out of being stall bound..

I wasn't trying to start an argument, was just asking what others reasoning was behind this practice, ~~In the past I thought somehow it was a given.part of the protocol.

like I said my old pony went out taped up which looking back wasn't necessary she had a large grass free area..it was torture for her.

wasn't trying to be controversial, just going back over things and getting a better perspective on it all..
