The pasture could be an issue if she has high insulin. If she doesn't, it's a matter of balancing minerals to pasture analysis instead of hay during those months. Until you can get her tested, at least put her in a grazing muzzle that allows minimal intake and stall her with soaked hay and with a buddy also in the barn for part of the day.
