The only way to evaluate any company's supplement is to compare it to what your diet needs. On the most basic level, this means a hay analysis. Unless you have a very young horse that is anemic, iron is virtually never needed. Manganese is rarely needed - but in some areas is. Chromium is not needed unless hay was grown on alkaline soils (usually the plane states out west). Phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, copper and selenium are commonly deficient but to know how much to supplement you first need to know the dietary levels.
