Twice a year the DEA holds a national drug take back day to have all pill form drugs recycled.

I think the website is takebackday.dea.gov

Go to the site, put in your zip code and it will give you a list of the closest collection points for you.

My mare died in July from complications of cushing's and I too had left over meds to dispose of.

Made for a sad day.

The recent offers to share pergolide from departed horses are kind and  generous, and we are all very sorry for your losses. However, it is illegal to transfer prescription medications.  Even your vet can't take them.  Please don't post those offers in the future.
