There's the potential for prolactin to be at the root of all of this. Prolactin is under the control of dopamine just like the pituitary intermediate lobe hormones.  Yes, you could try pergolide.  The only reason I suggested the Vitex/chasteberry is it probably works just as well as pergolide on prolactin issues but without the side effects. Please talk to your own veterinarian about this first.
