If he is turned out in a smaller turnout with boots, not really a problem.  When we turn him out in the nice arena, we take the boots off and he is so happy....rolling, running, bucking, farting and feeling really good.  I had used Renegade boots before when on the trail and when in the round pen as I had "conrol" of his actions.

I just know that he is so much comfortable and happier with the Soft Rides with laminitic insert gels on a daily basis especially during a lamnitic flare up.
