I have been trying to update the case histories for the past 2 years, and have been unable to figure it out. I have the x rays and hoof pictures as well as the blood work but am unable to put them in the case history. My new vet wanted Target on bute to help with the foot pain. I tried to  tell her about ECIR policy about bute but she said it will help with the pain. So far it has not helped and  I  did stop it about 3 weeks ago. No difference in the pain level. I don't understand how she can be so sore trying to walk when she doesn't test positive for pain with hoof testers. We did a full blood panel to see if there was something else going on with Target. I have a copy of that too. It went to True North. Vets here on the Island don't like to send anywhere else for some reason. I thought the blood looked odd too, with the ACTH so low and the insulin going up from 52.9 to 214.  I am at my wits end trying to help her, and don't know what to do next, or is it time to let her go. I just feel she isn't ready to give up yet and don't want to let her down after all she has been through. I really want her to feel better and not having gone through so much only to be put down now.  It would be like all the pain she has gone through would have been for nothing. I just don't know what to do next to try to help her.
