 Don't forget to change the hay gradually! I feed only coastal bermuda hay to my IR girl- she refuses Tomothy, so its been my only choice. There is a slim chance of impaction colic in horses fed coastal bermuda. I always feed soaked, and also add salt and water to her am and om feeds-plus RSR beet pulp at night. Make sure you're getting enough moisture into your horse and it should be fine.
