I use alfa tec timothy alfalfa hay cubes! Analysis for IR horses for esc and starch less than 8 percent. Was a bit nervous re the alfalfa but at 1 pound a day dry to soaked it has not been an issue. Share kare carries them. Im in Port Alberni
