I would not stop the pergolide for another stim test. You already have a diagnosis of PPID, which is the purpose of the stim test. PPID horses can develop IR if the PPID isn't carefully controlled. Even when it is, most PPID horses still need diet restrictions. My first step would be to tighten up the diet. Try switching the Nutrena product for something on our safe feeds list, and swap the animal crackers for celery. What did he eat prior to the two blood tests in your Case History?
