Is acetyl L carnitine the same, or does Jazz need the carnitine. Right now he gets 8.5g of ALCAR per day = he's about 840#.  First time I've been able to get this much down him & his energy level seems better. TG s still mildly elevated at 117 mg/dL.  He gets 15# ODT and 5# rsr BP plus hay - he's always hungry.
