Yes, some people choose to use it long-term for the same reason.
Just a search hint: I like to start most searches with "posterid:58231" if I'm looking for Dr Kellon's opinion and want to filter out all the welcome messages that mention common search words. I remember her saying long-term APF is fine, so I went looking for that message.
