Hi - 
mya finally gets get trims this Friday - farrier had to cancel due to being sick earlier 

I feel I should give her a tetnus booster just in case he hits blood . Would this be safe ? 

The reason I’m hesitant is 2 years ago in late august I gave mya her 5 way vaccinations for the fall (not west Nile) and within 48 hours she foundered & this path we are on now is I feel because of it (the final nail in the coffin so to speak with her system was giving the vaccinations I believe ) . She wasn’t diagnosed as IR at that time but I should have seen the signs - slightly creasty neck & she was on thyroid powder. 

Should I give her the tetnus booster prior to Friday ? 

she’s now on metformin- soaked hay - rsr beet pulp - flax - photo-quench - vit e - acetyl l carnitine - Magox & TC soaked Timothy cubes - just got my hay tester yesterday so will sample our hay soon. She is in process of weaning off of bute & thyroid med .
