I think you would be wise to sway your vet,for financial reasons,if nothing else. Thousands here have fed compounded pergolide for about 2 decades,with the sought-after results, according to blood work. Fortunately,I never had to make the choice(pre Prascend days)for my 7 boys,some of whom were on 14mgs, as they aged. I could never have afforded BI's product. My boys lived to be in their 30's and 40's . Just a thought.
