Hi Lori, I was having trouble getting Max to take his  Metformin, I was crushing the tablets and adding them to his beet pulp but he was refusing to eat it.
I bought some fruit teas (raspberry/strawberry) no sugar or carbs, but they have stevia added.  I now soak the tablets in a small amount of water for several hours, they then mash up easily, and I put a teabag in it for 5 minutes or so, and it makes a milky metformin tea that smells like strawberries.  I now tip it onto Max’s feed and he gobbles it up, thinks it’s a huge treat!
