Hi - I have used Hoof Armor in the past to good effect. We did not put it on the frog. It seemed to kind of absorb into the sole. After a day or so you could not visually see it anymore. I think it's best effect was to keep the sole from wearing away. The farm I had my horse at had a sand arena that would wear all the horses soles down. I don't know if it was the wrong sort of sand or what, but that is all I can figure. Once I moved Sunday, I no longer needed the Hoof Armor. Hope that helps!
