Tums, was: Treats, Was: Kellogg's Cracklin' Oats ?
You're referring to Tums? Patti said she only feeds a small amount, so I can't think they would affect too much, as long as sugar & starch is low. Aren't Tums supposed to soothe the stomach? I

Re: RE Fat Paso
From what I've read in past messages, testing the grass in
your pasture isn't worth it. Grass changes from hour to hour and day
to day, so the test results won't give you an answer you can use.

Tums? The calcium in two (0.5g) is equivalent to the calcium in about one ounce of alfalfa.
They don't have aluminum or magnesium in them.

Re: Safe treats, Was: Kellogg's Cracklin' Oats ?
Kallie used to like plain Rolaids. Rolaids are better, IMO, because of no
aluminum. The tiny amount of dextrose or whatever the sweetener is, compared
to the size of the animal, is minuscule.

Re: RE Fat Paso
Tracy, I am sorry if I forgot his foot status, but if he is not laminitic,
your comment "For now maybe I can keep him up in our 60' round pen " indicates
that you do have a way to exercise him.

Two tablets have the same carbs (1g) and sugar (1g) as a medium stalk of celery

plus approx half a gram of calcium.

Re: Help--off-the-charts levels for Kasha's bloodwork
Linda, Kasha currently has laminitis and his hooves are sinking as of
the last xrays (they are posted in the files). He is sore, of course. I
do use APF, so I will continue using it with the increase

Skode's uses all-natural ingredients in her recipes. That's important to us.
