Need hay help ASAP!!
This is a repost asking for help from a hay guru for my mineral
balancing. All e-mails to Dr. Kellon haven't been responded to. I

My notes say Nutrena Lite Balance is 17.1% esc/s so there's nothing lite about that! Take the bags back to the store. BS Carb Guard is 11% or less but 8% FAT...not soo good. I use a little

in her feet and did not respond to the hoof testers either. Mind you
her hooves are solid as a rock and 1/2 inch thick. The vet

You might be surprised at your horse's reaction to a grazing muzzle.
Mine both adapted quite quickly and have only managed to pull it off
once in 4 years. I get the $18 ones from Country Supply

Smoldering Laminitis?
Let's talk about this... what does it look like? Is the horse tender to
hoof testers? Heat in the feet?
I had a myriad of vets out last year over Allie's problem - everybody

I'll add to Linda's note on the muzzle. Maybe they can leave him in the
round pen while he eats his portion of hay, then muzzle (closed or
mostly closed) and let him go out with horses his own
