Re: grazing muzzle
I checked the Harmony Equine web site for their Green Gard muzzle.
Gacy needs her muzzle taped shut sometimes and that would be hard to
do with the GG and also the price was $119, that is way over

Hi Karen,
I can't find anywhere where you say how many lbs of this hay you feed
a day. Can't balance it without that. Sorry I might have overlooked it.

You may want to try the larger companies like Jeffers, Schneiders,
Dover, ValleyVet. Is it a close muzzle? To keep them from removing
the muzzle you can braid strands of the mane and forelock over

My horse hates the Best Friends style muzzle. It rubs sores under his
chin when I fit it securely enough so he can't get it off right away.
When it is fitted loose for comfort, he can get it off

Changes during hay storage
I just put up an article with the results of a year long study looking
at changes in testable nutrients over long term storage. Results are
in a linked table.
Give your thanks to the Animal Health

Michelle,
This really boils down to your preference and what your horse likes best. I like the cheapo Tough1 that costs under $20 now. I use a regular halter first then wrap the throat latch piece
