My mare who had foundered and had Cushings had to be sedated (quite heavily) to get
dental work done and she was fine. She was 19/20 at the time but she had to be put
down in April due to laminitis

must have felt when a sedative had to be administered knowing about the
heart block, this is what scares me most.

For whatever the information is worth... My Cushinoid mare, Tina
(Night Flight) is now 29 years old, diagnosed with Cushings
symptomatically (wouldn't ovulate & didn't shed out) about 5 years
ago.
