Hi Stephanie -
Yes.
You would have to read the directions from the company, however, pregnant or lactating mares need as close to a perfect diet, too!
No - The Target IR attempts to balance the grass

Re: where to buy minerals, etc?
Hi Jaini,
Sorry I missed this post earlier. No, I just buy it online and they ship it via USPS mail, takes about 10 days. This is the first I've heard of that. I know that shipping ALCAR to Canada

I think most of us here absolutely agree with that,Marian.
And I suspect that the negativity that surfaces from time to time is somewhat icegerg-like. There's a lot more where that came from, but we do

George,
Your points are well-taken, and again I'm sorry that so many of you have had problems. ALL I am saying is that this site should not be a forum to "bad mouth" vets or the profession. There

Re: Se and E/ was where to buy minerals, etc?
Hi George,
I answered you this morning, but for some reason the post hasn't shown up.
It's just that I have 5 special needs boys,4 of them over 30,and 1 who could also become IR if I'm not careful.

Re: Target IR
Hi Stephanie -
Target IR is a supplement, not a feed. It provides minerals in a *recipe* that is reasonable to try to fill the mineral gaps in a diet based on what are average excesses and deficits.

Target IR
I just read about Target IR on my digest. I'm curious why Target IR isn't mentioned in the newcomer info or as a diet option. I board and barn owner gets new hay in about every 2 weeks.

Di -magnesium maleate supplementation for IR horse with new behavior problem
I am wondering if Dr. Kellon or any of her wonderful helpers have heard anything about di-magnesium malate supplementation. I have an IR horse and have not had any success in reducing his cresty neck

I think the suggestion to get magnesium into him was based on helping him immediately.

One of the things you will come to understand with minerals is just how much does a product provide.
