Thanks for that good idea Joan. I don't think he is hurting. I ride him and he
is a very willing partner. I am not even sure that there is a correlation
between the meal and the sweating but it did

Re: temp of feet Now Lady Update
In addition to the .5mg pergolide she is on previcox (now daily), was as needed.
Is it already time for a seasonal rise?
Will have vet test Lyme and ACTH.

FW: [ECHorsekeeping] hay analysis is here, now what?
Paula,
Took a quick look at your hay and nothing jumped out at me.
Just a couple of questions.
If Cory has a body score of 4, what should his ideal weight be (to get him to a 5)?
Is this analysis

Re: diet nit-picking
Hi, Pam -
The mag ox is by weight. Not sure about the kelp in the copper and zinc - doesn't sound right to me - I will check the Uckele website when I get a chance.

Hi, Jean - Like Lavinia says, I would wonder about Lyme flaring up. Also, is she still on .5 mg pergolide once daily? ACTH was nicely under control in April, but I wonder if her seasonal rise has

Re: Nasal discharge
Nasal discharge in a compromised horse is an immediate alarm signal. Can you get your vet out to check it out, do a culture?
Is the discharge clear, thick, thin, colour?

Re: itchy
Sorry, moderators if this is too OT.
Two things - first I've found that the symptoms can be different in different horses. The horse here had no lameness, but intense itching on midline and chest.

Hi Jean,
Sorry Lady's having such a time. What is the status of the Lyme with her? Maybe that is rearing its ugly head again?
