Michael,
This may be OT but I know a lot of us need an occasional NSAID for some reason.
Previcox and Equioxx are not the same thing. The active ingredient is the same--firocoxib--but the Equioxx is

Hi Gayle
Unfortunately you just won't know about the prairie grass until you test. It may be okay, but it also might not be. If you can get a sample to run off an ESC and Starch before buying

There's no safety data with specific reference to hormones. In other species, the main safety issue is interference with oxygen binding to hemoglobin. A short term (31 day) feeding study in horses

Hi Rachel
"Green" is not the problem. "Yellow" does not make hay safe.

Thanks, Lorna and Nancy. We've been down this road before, but never so severely.
Nancy, you're absolutely correct - 2010 hay. The truckload we managed to buy this past season tested OK in protein,

Re: HELP please?? greener hay - am i heading for trouble?
Hi Rachel,
Can you give us a time line?
For how many meals did you try soaking(draining) your hay for an hour?
What improvements did you see as soon as you began soaking at 8 hours?
Is it certain

Re: Please advise w/Sabrina
Hi Gayle
Always go with what Dr Kellon says!
The hay in your file looks to be from 2010. Is that what you are feeding? If not, you want Equi-Analytical #603. Hay can vary from year to year

I checked the hay report in my case history. I guess the calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, etc. are not what you need. I looked at Equi-Analytical website. Is #604 what I need?
Will order.
