OK to Soak ODTB Cubes in Hot Water?
I am new to this but was wondering whether or not it's ok to soak the cubes in hot water? I ask this because they contain minerals. I was concerned whether or not hot water might alter them in some

Hi Judy,
Sorry that your boy has foundered but with your determination he will certainly come around. Just to add to Susan's welcome and intro to you, Morgan's are one of the poster children for IR.

Hi Maggie
If you are worried about iron, you won't get what you need except from KSU iron panel which I'll lay dollars to donuts is not part of this study.
AS to what else they do and what you hope

Hi Judy,
First of all, say how sorry I am for your loss and how I draw hope from your strength at such a sad time. I don't recall the conversation you are speaking of but for the benefit of all

Re: NUTRENA SPECIAL CARE
For my normal horses, maybe I could go for the lower 20s products or mixes like Dr Ks senior horse formula; but for the special needs guy, as low as possible is best. I can't imagine the average

Just want to say welcome. You are in the right place. You've made a good start with the changes you've instituted.
You should hear shortly from one of the "first responders' who will walk

Re: NUTRENA SPECIAL CARE
I just had a conversation with a Nutrena rep last weekend at our Horse Fair. He informed me that anything less that 20% s/s was acceptable for IR horses and that non-IR horses get up to 60%! Really?

I have read this term here recently and was wondering if this is the large part of my horses underside neck near the throat latch or about a hand width away. I have noticed it has been getting bigger
