S/s can be too low if the horse is working, but there are feeding strategies that you can follow to help with that.
The fiber content is pretty high, so it might not be the ynmmiest hay as

can ESC+Starch be too low?
Hay gurus,
I'm looking at a 2nd cutting OG hay tonight that has a an esc+starch of 3.8 %, protein at 10.8%, ADF/NDF 42/64, DE .79. All of the major and trace minerals seem fairly easy to balance,

1- There is no direct correlation between ACTH & Insulin levels in the sense that you could say "if ACTH rises 10 pg/mL the Insulin

I found that 150mg every 12 hours at first and then every day worked well for Wind who is 875#. I

This is very upsetting that it is even on the package insert.
The vet did take a nasal swab and said she would refrigerate it and if
there was no improvement by Monday, she would send it to the lab.

Your vet should already know about it. The laminitis information is right on the package insert. They tried to blame it on the diet or even neck pain from injection site reactions but lameness,
