Thanks for the response! I haven't spoken directly to the vet yet but can you tell me how to go about obtaining pergolide? Will I get it from the vet or a pharmacy?

Everyone has a different reason for using APF Pro. I use it for Cushings/IR pony to keep her top line where it should be and her muscle tone in general. I tried stopping it for awhile and

Would depend on why you were giving the APF. If it was to help with the pergolide veil, then that was a temporary measure while P adjusted to the perg. Once he was on his full dose of perg

In the testing I have done pellets are usually higher in iron. Processing likely has an impact there. The amount was not huge though, and through r/s/r the iron content can be brought down

Most BP pellets have quite a bit of molasses in them. It can take forever for them to soften and fall apart when soaked, and, in my experience, you end up with a bucket of what looks like

Sounds like a glucose tolerance test was done, which tests for IR. Has nothing to do with PPID. And do not know how it would diagnose liver disease either.

Got blood results back from Cornell
ACTH 29.5
Leptin 3.34
His insulin was previously tested and it was high normal but can't track down the number specifically at the moment.
